Year 11 student and member The Comedy Emporium Geraldton, Jackson Canny, is headed for the 2016 Class Clowns National Grand Final for a second time after smashing state competition.

Class Clowns is an annual comedy competition for high school aged students that takes place across Australia. Each state holds a heat, and the winners attends the final in Melbourne.

The one of a kind competition not only allowed entrants to unleash their comedy talent in forms such as stand-up, sketch, and musical comedy, as well as being a way of building and polishing performance and writing skills through mentoring with professional comedians, as well as helping to build the exposure of budding comedy talent.

Jackson will be attending the Melbourne Grand Final of the competition on Friday, the 15th of April, at 1pm.
